Missing NUS

I miss my NUS days, although I was fighting one of the most terrible internal turmoils of my life at that time.

All because I needed to send my friend an essay and had to open my NUS folder.

This song.

Listening to radio. Let me describe.

Sounds like Japanese anime music. Tiny voice, light. Two voices, together, almost apart.

It tip-toes across.

I like.

Psychological, Physiologically

It is weird to experience heartache on the first day of CNY.

It is even weirder to suddenly realize, while having the heartache, that this pain is actually physically felt at the chest area.

So while a part of me was dwelling over the emotional pain, the other part of me was utterly fascinated by how it felt physically, so much so that I had a hand over my heart and pressing the muscles (and rib-cage) above it.

And then I continued my daily activities with a devotion.

Facing it head on

From Nodame Cantabile Finale,

How can you join Concours when you can't even face the piece of music in front of you?

GPS

Brother was driving. Our Global Positioning System (GPS) was set for the temple, from home.

GPS: "Go straight 300m and turn left."
Father: Just go straight.

We go past the turn.

GPS: "Go straight 200m and turn left"
Father: Don't bother about it, just go straight.
Me: Eh, I think the GPS must think you all very stupid. Keep telling you to turn left but you all keep going straight.

We reach destination without heeding the GPS's advice at all.

Father: Poor GPS.

Sidenote: I named the GPS "Anne".
